UAE weather: Temperatures to dip to 18ºC in Abu Dhabi; red alert issued for fog

UAE residents on Sunday (January 18) can expect a generally partly cloudy day, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather department noted that low clouds are expected to form over some coastal and northern areas. There is a red alert issued for fog from 3:40am to 10am.
Temperatures will remain comfortable across the country, with highs not exceeding 25ºC. The mercury is as low as 18ºC in Abu Dhabi and 19ºC in Dubai.

The winds will be moderate to fresh, becoming strong at times, particularly over the sea. Sea conditions will be rough by morning, gradually easing to roughly moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
