UAE weather: Red alert issued for fog; temperatures to dip to 10ºC

The weather in the UAE is set to be fair to partly cloudy on Tuesday, January 13, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

There is also a red alert issued for fog from 1.32am to 10am.

The temperature will reach a high of 25ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The two emirates will see lows of 15ºC and 17ºC, respectively.

It will be humid by night and Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog or mist.

Light to moderate winds are set to blow in the southeasterly to northeasterly directions. While these will generally range in speeds of 10 to 25km/h, they may reach up to 35km/h.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
