UAE weather: Light rains expected; temperatures to dip to 15°C in Abu Dhabi

Light rainfall is expected during the daytime in some eastern and northern areas in the UAE on Sunday, January 11, 2026, as per the daily weather forecast shared by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Low clouds are expected to cover these areas, but skies over the country are expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general.

Temperatures will increase slightly. A high of 24°C is expected in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and 25°C in Dubai. A low of 15°C in Abu Dhabi and 16°C in Dubai.

Conditions will turn humid by night and Monday morning over some inland and coastal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation.

Winds will be light to moderate southeasterly, becoming northwesterly and freshening at times, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 35 kmph.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
