UAE weather: Chances of rain in some areas; low of 16°C in Abu Dhabi

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast humid and changeable weather across the UAE from Friday until January 15

UAE skies are expected to be fair to partly cloudy on Saturday, January 10, while some low clouds will appear over some eastern and northern areas, with a probability of rainfall, the country's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

Earlier, the NCM has forecast humid and changeable weather across the UAE from Friday until Tuesday, with a chance of mist or light fog in the mornings and isolated rainfall in some areas.

There's a red alert on fog from 4.43am to 10am. There is also a yellow alert issued for wind and thunder rain from 8am to 7pm.

Temperatures nationwide will range between 9°C and 27°C, with the Capital, Abu Dhabi, expected to see a high of 23°C and low of 16°C. Dubai will see a low of 16°C and a high of 24°C.

On Saturday, conditions are expected to turn humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal areas, with a probability of mist formation.

Expect light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 35kmph.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
