The lowest temperature recorded in the UAE on the last day of 2025 was 3.5°C in Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Jais

The new year in UAE begins with fair to partly cloudy skies, alongwith humid conditions by night, as per the daily weather forecast shared by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Humidity is expected to rise on Friday morning as well over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation.
The NCM had warned of rough seas on December 31. Late on New Year's Eve, they warned residents about continuity of fresh northwesterly winds reaching 40kmph and rough sea in Arabian Gulf with wave height reaching 6 feet, until 8am on Thursday, January 1.

As for temperatures, they are expected to range between 11°C and 25°C nationwide, with a low of 17°C and 18°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively. The highest temperature in Abu Dhabi will be 23°C. Sharjah and Dubai will see highs of 24°C.
