UAE weather: Chance of rainfall; Red alert issued due to thick fog

Residents can expect rainfall over islands and some coastal, northern and eastern areas, especially by night on Saturday, February 7, as per a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Weather conditions are likely to be partly cloudy and cloudy at times with an increase in temperatures. There is also a red alert issued for fog from 3.20am to 10am on Saturday.

The cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see lows of 18°C and 18°C, while witnessing highs of 28°C and 27°C, respectively.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected to blow at a speed of 10-25 km/hr, reaching 40 km/hr.

The sea will be slight to moderate and may become rough at times by night in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
