UAE weather: Light morning rains; low of 8ºC in some areas

Residents can expect light rainfall on the morning of Friday, February 6, as per a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Weather conditions are likely to be fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds set to appear over some eastern areas.

The situation will get humid by night and Saturday morning over some coastal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected to blow at a speed of 10-20 km/hr, reaching 30 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see lows of 18ºC and 17ºC, while witnessing highs of 27ºC and 26ºC, respectively.

Temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 8ºC in Al Ain's Raknah area and rise to a high of 30ºC in regions like Al Ruwais.
