UAE: Will it rain during Eid Al Etihad long weekend?

Temperatures have been dipping across the nation, with more residents planning outdoor excursions to make the most of the windy days and chilly nights.

The last long weekend of the year is set to bring with it pleasant weather, and if you're in town, you can expect cool early mornings and partly cloudy conditions overall.

The National Centre of Meteorology in its forecast has said that clouds will increase at times over some areas, especially the northern and coastal regions and the islands, with a chance of intermittent rainfall.

The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning hours with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas.

Maximum temperatures:

  • Coastal areas and islands: 24°C – 28°C

  • Inland areas: 26°C – 30°C

  • Mountainous areas: 12°C – 20°C

  • Inland areas: 12°C – 16°C

  • Mountainous areas: 8°C – 15°C

Saturday, November 29

The day will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some coastal, northern and eastern areas, with a chance of rainfall, the authority said.

The highest temperature in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be 27ºC and the mercury will dip to 18ºC and 17ºC in those two emirates, respectively.

It will be humid by night and Sunday morning over some internal areas with a probability of mist formation.

Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds will blow, freshening at times with clouds causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Sunday, November 30

The skies will be fair, but could be partly cloudy with low clouds appearing over some western areas.

It will be humid by night and Monday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation.

Light to moderate southeasterly winds, becoming northwesterly, freshening at times, with a speed of 10–25 kmph, reaching 35 kmph. Conditions at sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Monday, December 1

The day will be fair to partly cloudy in general, and low clouds will appear over some western areas.

There is also a possibility of mist formation as the it will become humid by night over some coastal and internal areas.

Light to moderate winds will blow, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25, reaching 35kmph. Conditions at sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, December 2

It will be partly cloudy in general, and low clouds will appear over some internal and coastal areas.

The general weather will also become more humid by night and Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas.

Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 35kmph. Conditions at sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
