Unstable weather: Dubai announces temporary closure of public parks, beaches

Due to unstable weather conditions, Dubai Municipality has announced that public beaches and parks across the emirate will be closed on two days — Thursday, 18 December, and Friday, 19 December.

The measure has been taken to ensure public safety. Earlier, Dubai authorities had issued a warning against swimming or conducting any other marine activities in the sea.

Ajman Municipality has also made a similar announcement, with public parks in the emirate being closed until further notice — or when weather conditions stabilise.
