UAE weather: Red alert issued for fog; cloudy day ahead

The weather in the UAE will be fair to partly cloudy on Monday, December 8, 2025.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), low clouds will appear over the islands and some western areas of the UAE.

There is also a red and yellow level fog alert issued from 1am to 10am today.

Residents will experience a humid night and Tuesday morning in the western coastal areas as well. Levels will range from 20 per cent to 75 per cent in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

Temperatures will increase tomorrow, with Abu Dhabi experiencing a high of 30°C, and Dubai and Sharjah experiencing a high of 31°C. The emirates will see lows of 19°C, 21°C and 18°C, respectively, and 10°C in internal areas.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the southeasterly to northeasterly directions. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
