UAE weather: Fair to partly cloudy skies; temperatures to range from 6°C to 26°C

The weather in the UAE will be fair to partly cloudy on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Low clouds will appear over islands and the sea towards the west.

It will be humid by night and Thursday morning over some internal areas, with the chance of fog or mist forming. Light to moderate winds will blow from the northeasterly to northwesterly directions. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Temperatures are set to range between 15°C and 23°C in Abu Dhabi, 16°C and 24°C in Dubai, and 12°C and 23°C in Sharjah. The cold season is fully upon the UAE, with the mercury dropping to 6°C in internal areas, and 4°C in the mountains towards the northwest part of the country.

They have forecast generally pleasant and moderate weather across the country from 25th to 29th December, with temperatures tending to be cooler at night, due to the passage of a weak extension of a low-pressure system.
