UAE weather: Cloudy skies with chance of rain; Abu Dhabi temperatures to dip to 20°C

The NCM said on Friday that the UAE will be affected by a surface low-pressure system from 13 to 19 December

UAE skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy on Saturday, December 13, with a chance of rainfall, especially over the islands, coasts, and some northern areas.

The National Center of Meterology said in their latest bulletin that the weather will be humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal and internal areas.

Light to moderate Southeasterly, becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10-25kmph, reaching 40kmph, will blow.

The temperature in Dubai is expected to range between 21°C and 29°C; Abu Dhabi between 20°C and 29°C and Sharjah between 19°C and 28°C.

The sea will be slight to moderate, may become rough at times with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea, the weather bulletin said.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Friday was 31.8°C in Barakah 2 (Al Dhafra Region) at 3pm.

From Saturday to Monday, weather conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall. Rain may become heavy at times over some areas, particularly over the islands as well as some coastal and northern regions.
