UAE weather: Chance of rainfall; Abu Dhabi temperatures to dip to 19ºC

Humidity levels will range from 20 to 75 per cent in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

On December 12, the weather will be fair to partly cloudy, according to a forecast by the UAE's National Centre of Meteorology.

The Met predicted that low clouds will appear over the islands and some western areas by night and Saturday morning, with a probability of rainfall.

Speaking to Khaleej Times on Thursday, Dr Ahmed Habib, meteorologist at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), said, “We expect the UAE to be affected by unstable weather conditions over the next few days. Starting Friday late night, the country will come under the influence of an extension of low pressure from both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea."

It will also be humid by night and Monday morning over some western areas. Levels will range from 20 to 75 per cent in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Temperatures could be as high as 31ºC in the country. Mercury is set to rise to 29ºC in Abu Dhabi and 30ºC in Dubai. 

However, temperatures could be as low as 19ºC in Abu Dhabi, 21ºC in Dubai and 12ºC in internal areas.

There will be light to moderate winds blowing in a southeasterly to northeasterly direction, with a speed of 10 to 20kmph, reaching 35kmph.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
