UAE weather: Dubai, Sharjah temperatures to hit 44°C, rains expected in some areas

Abu Dhabi will witness lows of 35°C and highs of 45°C on Thursday

Residents across some parts of the UAE might get the chance to experience rainfall on Thursday, August 7, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The showers might take place due to some convective clouds formation eastward and southward, associated with rainfall by afternoon.

The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times throughout the day.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are set to blow, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10-25 km/hr reaching 40 km/hr.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

For the third consecutive day, maximum temperature in internal areas is set to hit 49°C. Maximum humidity will be 85% in coastal and island areas.

Meanwhile, in Dubai and Sharjah, temperatures will rise to a high of 44°C and drop to a low of 33°C. Abu Dhabi will witness lows of 35°C and highs of 45°C.
