UAE residents can expect a fair to partly cloudy day on August 6, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

There is a chance of rainfall, as convective clouds may form by afternoon in certain areas of the country, particularly toward the east and south.

Mercury is expected to hit 49°C in internal areas in the country. Maximum temperature in Dubai is expected to be 43°C and minimum 35°C, while that in Abu Dhabi will be 45°C and 35°C. Sharjah will see a high of 43°C today, while the lowest temperature will be 32°C.

Light to moderate winds will blow at a speed of 10kmph to 25kmph, reaching up to 40kmph. These will cause blowing dust.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
