UAE weather: More rain expected; Abu Dhabi temperature to hit 45°C
Humidity is expected to increase during the night and continue into Monday morning

UAE residents will experience fair to partly cloudy conditions on Sunday, August 23, with a chance of convective clouds developing over eastern areas by Monday afternoon, potentially bringing rainfall of varying intensity.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), cloud activity could bring brief spells of rain in some eastern parts of the country.

Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast. They are expected to freshen at times, potentially causing blowing dust and sand and reducing visibility in some areas.

Wind speeds are forecast to range between 10 and 25kmph, reaching up to 40kmph at times.
Humidity is expected to increase during the night and continue into Monday morning, particularly over some coastal areas. The NCM also said there is a possibility of mist formation in these areas, so motorists should watch out for possible reduction in visibility.
The highest temperature recorded over the country on Saturday was 48.5°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) at 2pm UAE Local time.
On Sunday, Dubai and Abu Dhabi will see highs of 42°C and 45°C, respectively. The lowest temperature in both the emirates will be 34°C.
Parts of UAE have been witnessing unstable weather recently. On August 21, heavy rain, thunder and lightning was seen in some parts of Abu Dhabi. Trees and road signs could be seen shaking as residents in cars drove through rain-soaked streets.
The unstable weather continued on Saturday, with showers witnessed on Dubai-Al Ain road and other parts.
