UAE weather: Dusty conditions expected; high of 42°C in Dubai, Sharjah

Dusty conditions are expected in the UAE today, August 11, as per the National Centre of Meteorology's (NCM) forecast.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are set to blow, occasionally fresh during the daytime, which may cause dust to blow, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kmph, gusting up to 35 kmph.

Overall, skies will be fair to partly cloudy at times, with a probability of some convective cloud formation eastwards by the afternoon.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi are expected to reach a high of 44°C, but the mercury will hit 42°C in Dubai and Sharjah.
