Pilots flying an Emirates A380 battled turbulence amidst strong winds while landing the world's biggest plane at Birmingham Airport in the United Kingdom.
The Emirates plane successfully landed while other aircraft diverted as landing became highly risky due to heavy winds.

"The only time I've seen the world's largest plane toyed-with by severe weather, and in particular windshear which caused other flights to abort the approach. The Easyjet A320 simply didn't try again and diverted away," said flugsnug, the portal that uploads aviation-related videos.
"This was a day when the wind grew stronger as it moved towards crosswind direction... The runway having been drenched minutes earlier, the avalanche of reverse thrust spray capped the Emirates giant's performance!," flugsnug commented.
Emirates is currently the largest operator of Airbus A380 with 108 planes while another 54 are pending delivery. The Dubai-based carrier flies the world's largest plane to 50 destinations and has visited 73 airports. Emirates' A380 has 3 capacities - 517 passengers, 489 passengers and 615 passengers.
