UAE, world leaders exchange Eid greetings

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received congratulatory cables from the leaders of Arab, Islamic and other countries on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
Shaikh Khalifa received cables from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman; King Abdullah II of Jordan; President Omar Hasan al-Bashir of Sudan; Presi-dent Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine; President Hassan Rouhani of Iran; President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan; President Tony Tan Keng Yam of Singapore; President Barak Obama of the United States; and Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK.
Shaikh Khalifa also received cables from Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister of Oman; Dr Nabil El Araby, Secretary-General of the Arab League; and Fayez Al Mutairi, Director-General of the Arab Labour Organisation.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also received similar cables from the aforementioned leaders as well as from Lt-Gen Bakri Hassan Salih, First Vice-President of Sudan; Lt-Gen Mustafa Osman Al Obeid Salim, Minister of Defence of Sudan; Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei; Kevin Andrews, Minister of Defence of Australia Organisation.
Shaikh Khalifa also sent cables of greetings to heads of state of the Arab and Islamic countries congratulating them on the advent of Eid Al Fitr.
In the cables, Shaikh Khalifa wished the leaders good health and well-being, and further progress, prosperity and glory for their peoples, the Arab Nation and Muslim Nation.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar cables of greetings to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.
