The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 11°C in the Jais Mountain at 04:45 on Sunday morning.

According to tweets by National Centre of Meteorology in UAE, light rain had also hits certain areas of Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast an extension of a surface low pressure over the country, accompanied by an upper ridge.
According to the NCM, residents can expect scattered rain to be accompanied by thunder and lightening. The weather authority has also warned against potential convective clouds formations associated with rainfall in the in Arabian Gulf.
In the meantime, NCM has also urged motorists to take all precautions and avoid driving in valleys and in areas where rainwater accumulates as these areas may encounter rainfall and thunder at times, along with fresh winds, causing the blowing of dust and sand that may reduce horizontal visibility, with a wind speed of 55 kmph at times, until 8:00pm on Sunday, March 29.
Maximum temperatures in the country are expected to reach 32-34°C in the internal areas, 29 - 32°C in the internal areas. And, 16-21°C in the mountainous regions.
The sea will be rough to very rough especially with clouds activity in the Arabian Gulf and rough in Oman Sea.
