UAE unaffected by quake in Iran
AL AIN - The earthquake which hit western Iran yesterday had no impact on the UAE, according to Professor Haydar Baker, Applied Geophysics expert at the Geology Department at the UAE University.

Speaking to Khaleej Times, Prof Haydar said that the quake which hit an area 130 km from Ahvaz city at 5:20am (GMT) had no effect on the Emirates. The earthquake measured 4.9 on the Richter Scale.
