UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prohibited citizens from travelling to the Republic of Mali, it said on Tuesday, December 9.
The authority has also called on citizens who are visiting the nation to return to the UAE as soon as possible.
The authority highlighted the importance of adhering to instructions and alerts, and taking the highest levels of caution and remaining vigilant. It urged citizens currently in Mali to contact the authority through the dedicated emergency number for UAE nationals abroad, which is available 24/7.
