UAE traffic: Motorists deal with tailbacks on Sunday morning

Drivers in UAE were faced with heavy traffic and tailbacks on the first day of the week.

According to Google Maps, the traffic movement was extremely slow from Sharjah heading towards Mirdiff and from Al Majaz in Sharjah heading towards Deira in Dubai.


Most of the roads towards the Dubai International Airport are also blocked. The passengers departing from the airport are advised to leave their homes early to be able to catch their flights on time.

The commuters on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in Dubai were also caught in a long queue on the road.
