Monday morning saw most of the roads heading towards the Dubai International Airport experiencing slow moving traffic.
This is because of the summer holiday season setting in and the people flying out for the holidays. People flying out this morning or later in the afternoon are advised to leave their homes early in order to reach the airport on time.
According to a tweet on TrafficDXB official Twitter account, there had been an Accident on E11 Al Itihad Road opposite to the Dubai International Airport when coming from Sharjah, causing massive congestion and tailbacks.
Motorists driving on the road heading right from Al Wahda Street in Sharjah to Hor Al Anz in Dubai were caught in very heavy traffic this morning.
Commuters driving Sharjah to Dubai were also caught up in traffic tailbacks at the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah.
