UAE: Temporary street closure announced on Emirates Road

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced a partial closure of a main and connecting road at Al Badea Bridge on Emirates Road towards Sharjah.

The closure will begin at 1am on Saturday, August 23 and remain in place until 5am on Monday, August 25.

During this period, traffic will be diverted to the alternative route via Al Siyouh Suburb Tunnel towards Maliha Eastern Road. Check out the affected area below:

The closure comes as part of the construction works for the temporary bridge of the Etihad Rail Project.

Authorities apologised for any inconvenience and urged motorists to cooperate to ensure smooth traffic flow.
