Video: Fire at warehouse in Sharjah brought under control; no injuries reported

A fire that broke out in a fruits and vegetables warehouse located in Sharjah’s industrial area 15 on Sunday was brought under control, the emirate's civil defence authority said.

The flames marked the second blaze of the day in Sharjah. The fire led to the precautionary evacuation of nearby facilities. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters from multiple stations were dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring warehouses. The area was cordoned off.

In a statement, the Sharjah Civil Defence emphasised the importance of adhering to fire safety regulations and conducting regular inspections—especially in industrial zones.
