To date, the relief aid delivered by the UAE to Gaza via land has amounted to approximately 29,584 tonnes
The UAE rolled out the largest phase of its Gaza humanitarian initiative on Saturday, one day before the Israel-Hamas ceasefire comes into effect.
As many as 9,500 displaced Gazans — who now live in tents and temporary shelters — are expected to benefit from the drive, which is part of the country's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
This relief operation targeted the largest gathering of displaced people in southern Gaza, near Al Aqsa University in Khan Yunis.

UAE aid will keep pouring in, especially when the ceasefire kicks in, said Hamad Al Neyadi, head of the UAE Relief Mission.
The next phase will include vital repairs to water lines and sewage networks, alongside supporting bakeries and soup kitchens to ensure the provision of food for displaced individuals and those returning to their homes, said Al Neyadi.
The continuous humanitarian support provided to Gaza's residents falls in line with the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed, who is committed to alleviating the suffering of Palestinians amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Two UAE convoys loaded with over 309.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid have crossed into Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing over the past week.
The new aid, which was loaded in 25 trucks, included food supplies, shelter tents, and other essential items
This brings the total number of aid convoys that have entered Gaza under the UAE operation to 155.
To date, the humanitarian aid delivered by the UAE via land has amounted to approximately 29,584 tonnes.
