UAE police issue advisory for motorists during Eid holidays

Abu Dhabi motorists have been urged to abide by the traffic laws during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
The UAE has declared Eid holidays from Saturday, August 10 until Tuesday, August 13 for that public and private sector workers in the country.
The Abu Dhabi Police on their official Twitter handle advised commuters to adhere to traffic rules and regulations and abide by speed limits on roads, to avoid accidents during this long Eid holidays.

The Dubai Police in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also announced a comprehensive plan for traffic movement during the Eid Al Adha holidays in Dubai.
The plan is meant to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance the safety and security of road users during the Eid holiday. It covers all internal and key roads such as the Airport Street, tourist areas and malls.
Traffic and road security patrols will maintain a strong presence to ease and prevent potential traffic issues as a result of the anticipated heavy traffic.
