The Philippine Consulate-General (PCG) in Dubai will be temporarily closed from today, January 17, until tomorrow, January 18, after a possible exposure to Covid-19, the mission said in a statement.

“All clients who availed of consular services today (January 17) are strongly encouraged and advised to get tested for Covid-19 as soon as practicable,” it added.


Meanwhile, the consulate has said its premises will be thoroughly disinfected during the two-day closure.

Those whose appointments will be affected by the temporary suspension of services will be notified via e-mail. Filipinos who require immediate assistance may send a message to the consulate’s hotline and WhatsApp numbers.
