Chubby Cheeks Nursery is warning and parents that a viral rumor about a Saturday event at Dubai Mall being cancelled due to security concerns is false.
The statement comes after a note was circulated on Whatsapp and other social media platforms which read "the UAE government has issued a warning to avoid crowded malls and places in Dubai closure [sic] to Martyr's Day and National Day. The Dubai mall event is cancelled for the security and safety reasons. Thanks, CCN management."

In a statement sent to Khaleej Times, CCN denied having anything to do with the rumor.
"The note circulating regarding cancellation of Dubai Mall event due to UAE Government warning has not been authorized by Chubby Cheeks Nursery Senior Management and Marketing/Communications team," the statement reads. "We will be going ahead with our fun and safe field trips to Dubai Mall."
"We confirmed that no official government warning has been issued," the statement adds. "We request everyone to refrain from spreading rumors that are not validated."
Chubby Cheeks Nursery has one branch in Sharjah and four in Dubai, with a fifth scheduled to open soon in Karama.
Globally, there are heightened security concerns because of a string of terrorist incidents in France, Africa, and the Middle East.
