Four others to drive away a luxury vehicle each
The Ajman Public Transportation Authority (APTA) on Sunday launched a private taxi booking service mobile application (app) called the “Route”, which seeks to provide quick and safe services to passengers in the northern emirate.
The APTA’s new initiative seeks to further enhance passengers’ satisfaction.
Passengers have been urged to instal the ride-hailing app on their cellphones to book vehicles of their choice.
Omar bin Omair, Director General of APTA, said the authorities would like to make the best use of the available technology to give maximum comfort and safety to the public.
He said the Route app offers the most convenient mode of conveyance for passengers.
Omar Lootah, Executive Director, Operations Sector, APTA, said passengers have multiple options of vehicles that they would like to book, including limousines. The facility has a separate category for people of determination, he said. The app is available on both iOS and Android, he added.
Lootah listed out the advantages of the Route app and the easy and reliable mode of payment through multiple options.
