UAE National Day: When colours show love for the nation

Dubai - Artist Abdul Rahim Salem is presenting a mural that expresses the love for the nation by the mix of the flag colours at the JBR .

As part of the 44th National Day celebrations, artists unleashed their imagination to express their love for the nation and loyalty to their leadership at different locations of the country.
Emirati painters Abdul Rahim Salem, Dr Najat Mekki, Mona Abdul Qader Ali, Musa'ab Al Rayes, Abdul Kareem Sukkar, and Nasser Nasrallah are presenting six murals at the JBR Dubai and commercial centres in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain and Sharjah, as part of an event organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Community Development.

"As artists, we always thrive to teach the young how to cherish the country and defend it," said Salem.
Dr Najat Mekki, also in the same area, said in her mural, she mixes the country's heritage, the past and the present to express the joy of celebrating the national day.
Expressing her joy and honour in participating in the event, Mekki said that taking part in thepatriotic event is a humble contribution that truly expresses genuine patriotic sentiments.
Mona Abdul Qader Ali's mural at the Festival City in Dubai focuses on using green, white, and black and merging them with the country's achievements.
She said that it is an opportunity to express the love and loyalty to the beloved country.
Musa'ab Al Rayes' symbolic mural at Yas Mall expresses the patriotic love and the celebration of the national day and its importance. The mural presents the UAE flag colours in a joyful way. Al Rayes said that for her the artwork expresses loyalty to the beloved country and its leadership.
Artist Abdul Kareem Sukkar presents a mural at the Bawadi Mall in Al Ain, where he expresses the joy of celebrating the national day, and the development of the country.
The artist thanked the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development for giving the artists the opportunity to participate in this occasion.
Artist Nasser Nasrallah presents his mural at the Sahara mall in Sharjah.
Nasrallah said the national day is an opportunity for artists to show their talents. It is a chance to show patriotic sentiment through murals, he said. He added that it is a valued occasion to be remembered and celebrated along with the young in order to enhance the sentiments of pride in the country and its wise leadership.
