The Ministry of Education has issued an update regarding the education model for the next school year.
"The type of educational process in the next school year depends on the health situation, and it cannot be determined or decided currently," it said in a Twitter post on Thursday.
The decision "depends on the health circumstances", it said.
However, the authority was quick to note that the final decision would "definitely be for the good of both students and educational staff".
Earlier, the Minister of Education had said that a hybrid model of learning that combined both distance education and in-person classes would continue in the UAE during the next academic year.
