The UAE Lottery on Thursday announced the winner of Copper Cups Scratch Card.

"Congratulations to Rahul Joy, our Dh100,000 Copper Cups Scratch Card Winner," the UAE Lottery said on X.

Originally from India's Kerala, Rahul, who has been living in the UAE for six years, said: "I have some loans for things so I can reduce that one and I can do something better for my family also."

"Actually I heard from my friend who is playing the game in the canteen," he added.

The UAE Lottery offers a slew of cash prizes, with participants allowed to select their own lottery numbers or use the random generator. Operated by The Game LLC, it also has the option to buy scratch cards for prizes up to Dh1 million.
