The UAE Lottery has announced a major revamp to its Lucky Day game as it marks its first anniversary, confirming that draws will now move from every two weeks to every Saturday.
The update was revealed during a live broadcast on Saturday night, just before the final Dh100 million draw under the old format.
According to the announcement, the Lucky Day game will now feature:
New grand prize: Dh30 million
Second prize increased from Dh1 million to Dh5 million
Weekly Saturday draws instead of bi-weekly draws
Tonight’s draw also serves as the last-ever Dh100 million Lucky Day jackpot, closing out the original format after 26 draws, Dh147 million in payouts, more than 100,000 winners, and five players who claimed Dh1 million each over the past year.
Every Saturday draw will now also feature a ‘Lucky Chance’ segment, where three players will each win Dh100,000. The first weekly draw under the new format will be held on December 6.
Tonight marks the 26th Lucky Day draw and the final chance to win the Dh100 million grand prize. Over the past year, the UAE Lottery has created five millionaires, seen more than 100,000 players win prizes, and paid out a total of Dh147 million.
