UAE air defences deal with 15 ballistic missiles, 119 drones on Day 8 of Iran war

Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggression, UAE has intercepted 1,229 drones and destroyed 205 ballistic missiles

As the US-Israel-Iran war entered its 8th day, UAE air defenses detected 16 ballistic missiles and 121 drones, the ministry announced on Saturday.
Fifteen 15 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while one ballistic missile fell into the sea, UAE's Ministry of Defence revealed. Out of the 121 drones detected, 119 were intercepted, while two drones fell within the country's territories.
Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggression, 221 ballistic missiles have been detected, where 205 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while 14 of them fell in the sea waters, and 2 missiles fell on the country's territories.

Additionally, 1,305 Iranian drones were detected and 1,229 of them were intercepted, while 76 drones fell inside the country's territories, and 8 cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed.
These attacks resulted in 3 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities, and 112 cases of minor injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, and Turkish nationalities.
The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is on high alert and readiness to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that targets undermining the state's security, in a manner that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security, stability, and protects its interests and national capabilities.
