The authority stated that UAE airports and national carriers are working in an integrated manner to manage operational traffic according to approved plans.

Measures include rerouting some flights between UAE airports, accelerating flight rescheduling processes, and enhancing on-site coordination within passenger terminals to handle any potential congestion.

Over the past hours, UAE airports and national carriers have assisted approximately 20,200 passengers affected by the rescheduling of some flights. Temporary accommodations, meals, and beverages were provided, alongside facilitating rebooking procedures according to the approved operational plans.

National carriers, in coordination with relevant authorities, have managed affected incoming and outgoing flights by transporting passengers to their destinations within the country, providing temporary accommodations for transit passengers, and completing regulatory procedures in line with approved frameworks.

The authority affirmed that coordination between airports and airlines continues to monitor flight statuses and reschedule them as needed to support the safe and organized resumption of operations as soon as conditions allow.

The GCAA reiterated its call for passengers to follow official updates through approved channels and to contact airlines directly for any developments related to their flights.
