Weekend service launches November 28, linking residents to Ras Al Khaimah’s mountain peak until April 2026
The “Yellow Route” is a new internal public transport service designed to improve connectivity between key tourism hubs and the mountains. Launched by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA), the initiative forms part of the emirate's Transport Master Plan 2030.
Developed in collaboration with Marjan, the route links Al Jazirah Al Hamra to Jebel Jais via Al Marjan Island, serving major hotels and popular visitor destinations across the emirate.
The route will operate on weekends only from Friday to Sunday beginning 28 November 2025 and running until the end of April 2026. Buses will depart every three hours between 6am and 9pm, with the first trip starting from Al Jazirah Al Hamra through Al Marjan Island and the final return trip departing Jebel Jais at 9pm.
