Sharjah announces new category of licence plates for classic vehicles, motorcycles

Sharjah Police announced a new category of licence plates for classic vehicles and motorbikes across the emirate on Tuesday, December 23.

The new plates — which have been officially launched — adopt the approved design for vehicle plates in accordance with Sharjah’s visual identity.

These plates include the First Category and private plates for classic vehicles, as well as the First Category for motorcycles, in line with modern standards while preserving the heritage character of this category of vehicles.

These numbers will be offered for sale in cooperation with Emirates Auction, to offer multiple options characterised by quality and diversity, and aligned with institutional directions to develop the traffic services system.

The introduction of the new category comes within the framework of providing high-quality and distinctive services to owners of classic vehicles and motorcycles.
