UAE traffic alert: Temporary road closure of Emirates Road, key streets from August 16

The affected areas will be closed starting from 12am on August 16 until August 18

Abu Dhabi authorities announced a partial closure of Emirates Road (E611) heading towards Dubai.
The affected roads will be closed starting from 12am on Saturday (August 16) until 5am on Monday (August 18). During this period, the two right lanes towards Dubai will be closed.

Abu Dhabi mobility also announced the temporary closure of intersection at Zayed Bin Sultan St. and Hessa Bint Mohammed St. in Al Ain from 12am on Saturday (August 16) until 5am on Monday (August 18).

Al Jamea Road and Al Muzawwad Road at the Al Badia intersection towards Dubai (Emirates Road) on July 25 were also temporarily closed due to ongoing development works aimed at improving infrastructure in the area.
Another partial road closure on Sweihan Road (E20) in Abu Dhabi was also announced — from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17. Authorities said the right lane towards Abu Dhabi will be closed from Friday, 11pm, to Saturday 1pm. The two left lanes towards Abu Dhabi will be closed from Saturday, August 16 to Sunday August 17.
