RTA announces extended Dubai Metro, Tram timings for Eid Al Fitr 2026

According to the RTA, the Metro will run from 5am until 1am the following day, while the Tram will operate from 6am to 1am

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced extended operating hours for the Dubai Metro and Tram during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

According to the RTA, the Dubai Metro will run from 5am until 1am the following day, while the Tram will operate from 6am to 1am. The extended schedule will be in effect from March 18 to 22.

Typically, the Dubai Metro operates from 5am to midnight from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays, extends to 1am on Fridays, and runs from 8am to midnight on Sundays.

In addition to extended transport hours, the RTA earlier confirmed that public parking across the Dubai will be free from the first day of Eid until the end of the third day of the holiday. The exemption applies to all public parking zones, except multi-storey parking facilities.

The authority has also outlined business hours for its services during the holiday period, which is expected to run from March 19 to March 21.
