Dubai Tram resumes JBR service after 1-hour suspension due to 'reported accident'

Dubai Tram service has resumed after being suspended for an hour between the Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 and 2 stations, Roads and Transport Authority said.

RTA first informed passengers of a disruption at 9.47pm. The disruption took place after a "reported accident", the authority said. Bus services were provided between the affected stations.

At the time of service suspension between the two JBR stations, the tram service continued to operate normally on the rest of the line, RTA added.

At 10.47pm, the authority informed commuters that the service between the JBR stations was back to normal.
