Dubai: Traffic delays expected near Coca-Cola Arena for Hope Makers closing ceremony
The Hope Makers initiative honours individuals and organisations making significant humanitarian contributions

Dubai motorists can expect traffic delays on Al Bidda Street and Al Safa Street on Sunday, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced.
The delays will coincide with the closing ceremony of the Hope Makers initiative at Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, February 23.
To ensure smoother travel, motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road.

The Hope Makers initiative honours individuals and organisations making significant humanitarian contributions. The winner will receive a Dh1-million prize to support and expand their charitable efforts.
The initiative, which operates under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, targets individuals and organisations from anywhere in the Arab world or beyond.
Since its launch in 2017 by Sheikh Mohammed, the initiative has recognised projects and programmes that improve lives, alleviate suffering, and address social challenges through voluntary efforts.
Now in its fifth edition, the award has drawn participation from over 26,000 young men and women across the Arab world and beyond.
