The Al Ruwayyah Yard project provides secure, well-equipped parking facilities to preserve the emirate's urban landscape while supporting its tourism appeal
Dubai has unveiled a new solution to streamline parking for caravans, boats, trailers, and food vending vehicles, as part of broader efforts to enhance urban organisation and improve residents’ and visitors’ quality of life.
The Al Ruwayyah Yard project, announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), offers dedicated, secure, and well-equipped parking spaces, aiming to preserve Dubai's urban landscape while supporting its tourism appeal.
“This initiative represents a key pillar in curbing unregulated practices and maintaining smooth traffic flow. The yard will provide 335 dedicated parking spaces, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, directly contributing to safeguarding the road right-of-way, enhancing traffic safety, and enhancing the city’s overall visual appeal," said Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at RTA.

Plans are already underway to expand the service to additional locations across the emirate, making it more accessible to individuals and companies alike.

Al Ali noted that the project was implemented in collaboration with a 'specialised company' in Dubai. "This reflects RTA commitment to working with the private sector and aligns with the vision of Dubai Government to strengthen public-private partnerships in delivering vital infrastructure projects and achieving objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
"It also supports sustainable economic growth by leveraging private sector expertise and promoting knowledge exchange to deliver advanced services to the public across all segments of society.”
