Q Mobility on Wednesday announced activation of four multi-storey parking facilities in the commercial sectors of Mohamed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi to help ease traffic congestion and provide more parking spaces in the area.
Four parking buildings have been introduced across sectors ME9, ME10 and ME12, including two facilities in ME10. In total, the new structures provide 1,446 parking spaces. 682 these spaces are located in ME9, 346 in ME10 and 418 in ME12. Dedicated parking spaces have also been allocated for People of Determination.
According to the authorities, the facilities, operated by Q Mobility under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, took effect on March 11.

In a statement, Q Mobility said, Mohamed Bin Zayed City has seen increasing traffic in recent years because of the many offices, shops and services in its commercial areas. Limited parking and irregular parking practices have often caused congestion and disrupted traffic flow.
Authorities say the new multi-storey facilities are intended to increase parking capacity and reduce the time drivers spend searching for parking in the area, thereby improving traffic flow within the commercial districts.
At the start of 2026, Q Mobility activated new paid parking system in Musaffah to ease congestion and improve traffic flow in one of the emirate’s busiest industrial zones.
Paid parking was introduced in sectors M1, M2, M3, M4 and M24, covering 4,680 parking spaces, including designated bays for People of Determination. The standard parking fee is Dh2 per hour. Payment can be made through digital channels such as the Darb and Tamm applications, SMS, and on-site payment machines, providing a flexible and seamless user experience.
