How drivers in Abu Dhabi can reduce black points, get licence back

Abu Dhabi motorists can now get traffic points reduced on their licences, police announced.
To avail this service, drivers are required to attend workshops and courses offered through the Abu Dhabi Police platform located at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall.

The programmes are being held from 4pm to 10pm from January 17 to 31. The initiative includes:
Reduction of 8 traffic points — This is available to drivers who have less than 24 traffic points recorded on their licenses.
Recovering the driving licence — This is available to drivers who have reached over 24 traffic points.
The drivers must enrol in courses after paying the scheduled fees. Police called on the public to take part in the initiative, and help protect the community from traffic-related risks.
