Transport congress concludes

On behalf of Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA, Engineer Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, CEO of Public Transport Agency and Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the Congress, praised the participating companies and establishments.

Al Dosari spoke about the achievement made by Dubai to host the 59^th UITP World Public Transport Congress in 2011.

Commenting on the findings of the Congress, Al Dosari said: “Participants in this event have come out with a number of constructive recommendations and concepts which are capable of broadening and developing public transport network in the region.”Among the key recommendations and suggestions, Al Dosari said, “The Congress invited the attention of the legislative bodies in the Middle East and North African (MENA) countries.”
