Multiple accidents lead to massive traffic in UAE

Motorists are urged to take alternative routes to avoid delays.

Motorists faced significant delays in Dubai and Sharjah during the rush hour commute on Thursday morning.

Dubai Police took to Twitter to report an accident on Umm Suqeim Road towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Al Khail Road towards Dubai.

Police have also suggested drivers to drive carefully and find alternative routes wherever possible.

According to Google Maps, two accidents were reported on E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Dubai Silicon Oasis causing huge tailbacks towards Dubai.

Two accidents were also reported on D63 road near Al Barsha caused huge tailbacks towards Al Quoz Industrial Area 4.

Slow moving traffic was observed on  E44 Al Warqa road to Ras Al Khor area towards Dubai.

In Sharjah, traffic jams were observed on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311) around Al Nahda area towards Dubai.

Tailbacks were also reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from Sharjah Industrial Area towards Dubai.
