As many as 86 research papers on Arabic language will be presented by experts and specialists at 24 seminars during the fourth International Arab Language Conference from January 29-30 in Sharjah.
The conference is organised by the Educational Centre for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States, Sharjah, under the slogan "In Arabic ... We innovate". The conference is aimed at developing Arabic language teaching and learning through studying its requirements, dimensions and perspectives.
Addressing a Press conference on Tuseday, Dr Issa Al Hammadi, director of the centre, said that the conference is organised in coordination with the Academy of the Arabic Language in Sharjah, the Ministry of Education, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sharjah and Al Qasimia University.
Al Hammadi indicated that the 86 research papers approved for presentation were judged by specialists and academics, after reviewing 246 research papers.
