Sharjah Police confirmed that vehicles and bikes creating noise and disturbance for residents have been confiscated. This comes after the authorities received numerous complaints from community members.

Sharjah Police clarified that legal proceedings will be applied to violators, and that field surveillance efforts continue to monitor and take action against road safety violators.
Noisy vehicles cause disturbance to residents within residential neighbourhoods and on some public streets, the authorities said. It may cause concern for the elderly, children, and the overall community, they added.
Police called on parents to be responsible for their children, and make them aware of the dangers of these practices and their legal implications.
Authorities emphasised the importance of the family's role in guiding children towards positive behaviours, and avoiding any acts that may cause disturbance to others or interfere with public safety.
